Release Notes for version 2.0

The initial version 2.0 was launched as a beta with the official release starting on
patch v2.01. The following is a list of the initial release notes.

- New: Max mortal level is now 100
- New: Dynamic stat system based on class/level/race
- New: Strength affects your physical attack and how much you can carry.
- New: Dexterity affects your accuracy, critical hit rate and rogue skills.
- New: Agility affects your physical/magical evasion.
- New: Constitution affects your defense and stamina/hit point regen.
- New: Intelligence affects your magic attack/critical and mana regen.
- New: Wisdom affects your magic defense, magic accuracy and healing potency
- New: Charisma affects bard songs and the chance of being attacked by aggressive creatures
- New: New class system that allows changing your class at a practice trainer.
- New: Multiclassing is unlocked upon getting a class to level 100.
- New: Classchange command used at practice trainers to change your primary and/or second class.
- New: Shadow Knights have been redone into the new class Blackguard.
- New: Werewolves have been replaced with Berserker.
- New: Hit points, mana and stamina are no longer trainable
- New: HP/Mana/Stamina are now based on your class/level/race
- New: Players now receive 25 build points upon creation to customize their stats.
- New: Build points are no longer obtainable through questing/leveling
- New: Ability point exp requirements for level 90+ characters is now 150k
- New: Armor proficiencies based on your primary class. universal/light/medium/heavy
- New: Weapon proficiencies based on your primary class.
- New: Combat system has been revamped to use a delay based system.
- New: Skills and spells now have individual cooldowns.
- New: Haste/quickfoot now reduce combat delay instead of granting extra attacks.
- New: Skills/spells no longer use percentages. Instead they use skill levels.
- New: Skills now require stamina in order to execute.
- New: Skills/spells have had their damage and resist calculations redone.
- New: The combat arts skill has been added to war/ber/pal/rng
- New: A line of combat arts for berserkers has been added in.
- New: A line of combat arts for warriors has been added in.
- New: A line of combat arts for rangers has been added in.
- New: A line of combat arts for paladins has been added in.
- New: Venom has been added for rogues, an attack that inflicts a powerful poison.
- New: Bellow has been added to bards. Cha/Dex based attack.
- New: Anatomy knowledge has been reworked and now works with claw-type weapons.
- New: otions now have their own cooldown time during combat.
- New: Metapsionics has been removed. Psions now use Magical Dexterity.
- Adjustment: Racial mods have all been adjusted for the new stat system.
- New: Aiue's waygate system has been implemented with the removal of astral walk
- Adjustment: Every item in the game has been restatted/rebalanced in accordance with the new system.
- Adjustment: Every mob in the game has had their stats adjusted for balance with the new system.
- Adjustment: Some areas have been moved or had their links fixed. Help maps should be current.
- Adjustment: Various areas have had their level range adjusted due to the new level cap.
- New: Class based anti-flags are no longer in use due to armor profiency.
- New: Most items have had their racial anti-flags re-evaluated. Very few remain.
- New: Anti-alignment flags on equipment have been removed.
- New: Identify is now a command and has been updated to show armor type and weapon type/delay.
- New: Key item system has been added in to allow flagging for portals, etc.
- New: Static quests have been revamped to make quest chains more fluid.
- New: When you die, your corpse will now be taken to the morgue with you regardless of level.
- New: Corpse summon spell and the recover command have been removed.
- New: Various out of combat skills, etc. have had a minimum wait time added in.
- Adjustment: The ranking system now takes into account your highest level instead of your current level
- New: Kick and punch use combat arts for their damage calculations if you are a war/rng/ber/pal/rog
- New: champtalk lets you use it at any level as long as you have reached champion on at least one class
- New: Warriors now have access to the shield bash skill
- Adjustment: The warrior skill "Finishing Strike" has been lowered to 75
- Adjustment: Rangers now get dual wield at 20 instead of 27.
- New: Berserkers now have the dual wield skill.
- New: Added in "statreset" This command will let you reset your trained stats one time.
- New: Removed the mount restriction from combat arts
- New: While mounted during combat, your mount will have a chance to make a charge automatically
- New: Fighting while mounted increases your combat delay slightly
- New: The mount skill now increases the chances of your mount attacking while in combat
- Adjustment: Completion of "The Return of the Bear" now sounds you to the mudschool instead of the nexus.
- New: You can now purchase quest items from other cities, though there is a 50% markup.
- New: Certain spells/skills have become "practice only" They will not go past skill/spell level 1
- Adjustment: Increased the base chance for skillups
- Adjustment: Skills that are capped will now show MAX in practice
- Adjustment: The Bind Wounds skill has had a complete overhaul
- Adjustment: The experience gained from leveling skills/spells has been lowered.
- New: Mission equipment lists have been updated with new items and costs
- Adjustment: Tinker/Forge have been updated in accordance with the new item standards.
- New: You can now type "m" for mission. Thank Tristen for the idea.
- New: Score has been revamped. Thank Tristen for the suggestion about attack/accuracy, etc.
- Adjustment: You can now see your total AP gained with the abilities command. (level 90+ only)
- New: Psionisists now have the silence spell
- New: Psionisists and mages now have the slow spell
- New: Psionisists now have access to the haste spell
- New: Rangers now get pass plant at level 100
- Adjustment: Pass Plant for druids has been lowered from 80 to 65.
- New: Lizardmen and Tabaxi monks will now use their claws instead of fists.
- Adjustment: Skills now only cost Orcs and Lizardmen 75% of the normal cot.
- Adjustment: Aid and Dark Blessing no longer have alignment requirements.
- New: Dru/Cle Spell "Ward Blindness" - Significantly decreases the chances of getting blinded by attacks and spells
